The NeSy | Neuro-Symbolic Integration Lab is dedicated to investigate how to combine sub-symbolic and symbolic Artificial Intelligence. Integrating learning and reasoning promises to be at the basis of the next generation of AI systems. While neural networks excel at learning at scale, symbolic reasoning allows sound and precise inference.
The NeSy Lab is coordinated by Prof. Fabrizio Riguzzi alongside the research team:
Riccardo Zese, PhD, Associate Professor;
Damiano Azzolini, PhD, Assistant Professor;
Arnaud Nguembang Fadja, PhD, Research Fellow;
Alice Bizzarri, PhD, Research Fellow;
Elisabetta Gentili, PhD student;
Atefeh Ghanbari, PhD student;
Stefano Sambri, PhD student.
