Marco Alberti is Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Ferrara. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering and a Ph.D. in Information Engineering from the same university.
His research interests include Statistical Relational Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Representation and Automated Reasoning, Multi-Agent Systems, and Normative Systems. He has authored and co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed articles in these areas.
Before his current appointment, he was a fixed-term researcher at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Ferrara from 2016 to 2019. Previously, he worked as a software consultant in Ferrara, as a researcher at CENTRIA, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, and as a research fellow at the Department of Engineering of the University of Ferrara.
He received his Ph.D. in Information Engineering from the Department of Engineering of the University of Ferrara in 2005 and his degree in Electronic Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the same university in 2001.
